That's it! Filled with the power of New Year's resolutions, I decided to make it happen... It's been almost two years now that I have been thinking of sharing experiences and maybe help someone else to understand better the life on wheels, and the life around the wheels. With a rich archive I think now it is time to action!!!
Well, for those who doesn't know me, my hubby or a little of our life, let me introduce us!
My name is Janaina. I am Brazilian, 28 years old. Mechanical engineer working in the filed, living in Michigan USA and at the present moment pursuing my MBA at the University of Detroit Mercy. I ended up in USA due to my work, and I remain in USA mostly due to "pure love" for my hubby!!! Daughter of a retired Brazilian police officer father who worked hard his entire life to retire with very short financial resources, but a lot of respect and love from his friends and family and a mother who worked her entire life to support her family, who is genuine pure love and also is president of an orphanage always giving and helping.
His name is Pete. He was born in Bulgaria the only child of the family. When he was 12 years his parents, aiming for better life, decided to come and try life in North America. They lived in Canada at first, and then moved to Michigan USA where he grew up. Two weeks before his 26th birthday he went to a skiing trip and unfortunately had an accident that left him paralyzed from waist down. Sustaining a spinal cord injury (T2 Asia A) for almost 7 years now, this man is my passion and my hero!!!
We started talking online and he first met on October 2, 2008. Love at first sight, we have been together since then. With promises of taking care of each other through whatever life may bring, cherishing, loving and supporting each other, and inspired by his great heart, I dedicate this and everything else that I am and that I am going to be to my family, and specially to him!!!
Knowing that this work will be done by four hands, writing in name f me and my husband, to our audience we would like to thank the attention, kindness and caring, as well as offer support, information, and hope!!!
